5/27/2018 Byron Buxton, Min, CF
Buxton is in Sunday's lineup after leaving the Twins' loss at Seattle on Saturday with a head injury.

Analysis: Buxton suffered a cut on his head when he crashed into the outfield wall trying to rob the Mariners' Nelson Cruz of a home run in the sixth inning. The former top prospect is just 4 for 29 over his last 11 games to drop his season average to .163.
5/27/2018 Nick Vincent, Sea, P
The Mariners have placed Vincent on the 10-day DL with a strained right groin.

Analysis: The reliever sustained the injury during Saturday's appearance against the Twins and could possibly be sidelined multiple weeks. With 10 holds and three wins out of the bullpen, Vincent does have a little bit of fantasy value for a non-closer.
5/27/2018 Jean Segura, Sea, SS
Segura underwent concussion tests after being kicked in the head during the eighth inning of Seattle's 4-3 win over Minnesota on Saturday. He is not in the lineup for Sunday's game.

Analysis: The results of the tests are not yet known. Segura was hurt attempting to break up a double play as his head collided with the leg of Twins infielder Gregorio Petit. The Mariners are hoping it's just a day-to-day issue, as the shortstop has been raking lately with a .414 average (29 for 70), two homers, 10 RBIs and seven steals over his last 16 games. He went 3 for 4 with a home run in Saturday's win.
5/27/2018 Mookie Betts, Bos, RF
Betts was scratched from the Red Sox's lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta due to tightness in his left side.

Analysis: Oblique injuries often lead to DL stints, so this is obviously a situation that can have a major impact on the AL East race as well as a whole lot of fantasy leagues. Arguably the best player in baseball over the season's first two months, Betts entered Sunday's play atop the majors with a .359 average and is tied with Mike Trout for the MLB lead with 17 home runs.
5/27/2018 AJ Ramos, NYM, P
Ramos has flown back to New York to get his right shoulder checked out by a doctor.

Analysis: Assistant general manager John Ricco says Ramos told the club about tightness in the shoulder after the right-hander allowed three runs and three hits in two-thirds of an inning in a 17-6 loss Saturday to the Milwaukee Brewers. Ramos has given up eight runs in his last 4 2/3 innings.
5/27/2018 Dexter Fowler, StL, CF
Fowler, who left Saturday's game at Pittsburgh after being hit by a pitch in his right knee, is not in Sunday's lineup.

Analysis: X-rays did turn up negative, though Fowler is still dealing with some discomfort. The veteran outfielder has been a tough fantasy sell anyway with a .157 average through 43 games, though he has managed five home runs and three steals.
5/27/2018 Justin Upton, LAA, LF
Upton, who left Saturday's game against the Yankees after being hit by a pitch in his left forearm, is not in Sunday's lineup.

Analysis: Upton is only dealing with a bruise, however, after X-rays turned up negative. Chris Young will take his spot in left field for Sunday's matchup with the Yankees.
